Over the weekend of 21–22 March, we invite you to take part in creating a community earth mural at Treasure Island — a living artwork celebrating Lantau’s iconic buffalo, landscapes, and the deep relationship between land and community.

This textured mural will be created using Lantau’s natural clay, transforming earth into a sculptural surface that tells a story of place, heritage, and care for the environment.

The workshop will be facilitated by Alex of Bisque-kit — an architect and artist whose work explores natural, reusable, and recycled materials through creative practice. Joining for the weekend is visiting earth artist Claudio Vega, who will participate in the mural process and share insights from his experience creating clay-based artworks with communities around the world. His presence offers a meaningful opportunity for cultural exchange and shared creative exploration rooted in natural materials and ancestral traditions.
