This A3 fine liner portrait was commissioned as a wedding gift, celebrating a beloved pet dog that holds a special place in the couple’s everyday life. Rather than creating a traditional static portrait, the intention was to capture a moment that felt personal, joyful, and full of character.

The dog is known for “singing” along whenever the piano is played, a small but meaningful ritual that brings humour and warmth into the home. This drawing was inspired by that moment — translating sound and movement into line, expression, and posture.
