1. Location
The Making Ground Studio
Our studio space, located near Pak Ngan Heung in Mui Wo, offers a beautiful private outdoor setting surrounded by greenery, creating a calm and peaceful environment to slow down, connect, and create away from the city. The space features a large communal table comfortably seating up to 10 people, making it ideal for intimate and hands-on workshop experiences.
Guests can enjoy facilities including tea, coffee, fresh drinking water, and toilet access throughout the session.
This is our default location for smaller private workshop groups.
Private workshop group sizes:
Minimum booking: 6 people
Maximum booking: 10 people
Ark Eden
Our Ark Eden site is a much larger natural space located in the hills above Mui Wo. The journey involves a slightly longer walk, but rewards you with a truly tranquil escape surrounded by lush greenery and hillside views — a beautifully immersive natural setting.
This location is especially well suited for larger groups and more active, hands-on workshops such as earth building and brick making with children or community groups.
The site includes a sheltered rainproof canopy area as well as a spacious wooden deck nestled amongst the trees, providing flexible outdoor working and gathering spaces in all weather conditions.
Private workshop group sizes:
Minimum booking: 12 people
Maximum booking: 25 people (Depending on the activity)
Your Own Location
Not all activities are possible at your own location as they require a lot of equipment or heavy materials, but if you'd like to host something in your own space let us know what you have in mind and we can try and work with you to make it work.
